BOS to BWI

Any of you in the Boston area having trouble getting tickets to Red Sox games at Fenway, or anyone who just wants to visit Camden Yards, should consider this deal:

AirTran has launched a spring- summer sale. Sample: Fly nonstop from BWI to Boston for $59 each way, including $14 in taxes (the cheapest one-way nonstop fare on other airlines is $136). Book by April 1, travel through Oct. 6. Advance purchase required; blackout days/dates apply. Info: 800-AIRTRAN, www.airtran.com.

Of course, AirTran is the infamous ValuJet in another guise, so caveat emptor.

As April 6th approaches, I'm getting ever more excited to witness first hand Curt Schilling's debut in Baltimore.

"I'm ready," Schilling said. "Mentally I feel like I'm ready, and physically I certainly feel like I'm there. The next one will hopefully be a good tuneup, and then they count" (MLB.com).

Then they count.
