Manny, Manny, Manny!
The love affair with Manny Ramirez continues unabated, but is isn't just us fans, the sentiments are echoed by his teammates as well:
``For guys you don't know, you can only go by what he does on the field and wonder, `Is it that easy?' '' rehabbing shortstop Nomar Garciaparra said about the uncertainty surrounding Ramirez upon his arrival. ``For some guys it IS that easy, and you're like `Whoa,' and you just tip your cap'' (The Boston Herald).
When I see Manny come to the plate, it just makes me happy. Man, I hope Nomar comes back healthy. Can you imagine watching games in September, as the shadows grow longer and the air goes crisp, with a 1-2 of Nomar and Manny? If there is any justice in this world, let the Fates grant us at least that.
Where is TBS?
So I'm in bed this morning and I can hear it's raining outside and I'm thinking Awesome, I can really enjoy this last day of my vacation, no yard work, no chores, nothing but kicking back and living the good life and to top it all off the Red Sox will be on TBS vs. The Braves at 1pm and I can really just lose myself in the game . . .
But, to my amazement, TBS is not covering the game today! What the hell is up with that?
Well, at least there is the webcast radio version to fall back on.
